Back-to-school starts at the beginning of summer!
…There’s been a delicious air of vacation about us for some time now. The sun is giving us permission to extend our evenings outdoors, and some colleagues are starting to count down to their vacations. There’s no doubt about it, summer is setting in, and it’s time to take stock of the first part of the past year. How can we optimize the coming months so that they serve the strategic plan defined last January? That’s what we’re talking about in this article, because back-to-school starts at the beginning of summer!
Taking stock for better preparation
The summer period often heralds a slowdown in activity for many sectors. Vacations come and go, meetings are full of absentees. It’s time for a well-deserved break, before the new season kicks off with a vengeance. Recharging the batteries is essential, both for you and for your teams. Be careful, however, not to confuse “recharging the batteries” with “taking a temporary break”. On the contrary, summer is the ideal time to take stock of the first few months. It’s also the perfect time to look ahead to the second half of the year.
Preparing for a strategic back-to-school period
What better way to take stock of what’s been achieved and what still needs to be developed in order to stay on track with this year’s strategic plan than with a lighter daily workload? When the bell rings in September, with everyone’s batteries recharged, many people will want to move mountains. To ensure that these mountains are moved strategically and optimally, it’s essential to take the time to reflect on their various movements. This is what we invite you to do together.
Preparing in partnership
At Iceberg management, we offer you the first meeting. During this first hour together, we’ll listen to you and help you define your needs. We’ll see how we can help you meet them. To develop your teams’ skills, we offer training and facilitation workshops. We also offer coaching and our innovative Leadership Path. Whichever option appeals to you and matches your needs, the months of June to August are ideal for getting the ball rolling. If you take advantage of the summer to define the different interventions you wish to offer your teams during the second half of the year, we can build on the mobilization and motivation that prevail at the start of the new school year in September. We’ll capitalize on the open-minded, creative spirit inherent in anyone who has recharged their batteries. And we’ll be able to create real momentum within our teams.
Get ready: contact us!
We invite you to take advantage of the current period to start thinking about what you’d like to offer this fall. If you’re overwhelmed by ideas and unsure of the best option for you, we can help you see things more clearly. We invite you to contact us to arrange our first online meeting. We’ll explain how we work, explore the options that fit your needs, and answer any questions you may have.
We look forward to meeting you.
