Unlock the Power of Collective Intelligence
Healthy Workplaces Solve Together and Adapt Faster
By focusing on collaborative problem-solving with all stakeholders, teams better identify risks and respond to them with sustainable solutions. This fostering of collective intelligence not only has a direct impact on employee accountability and improved employee well-being, it also increases organizational resilience. By actively involving employees in the search for solutions, organizations adapt more easily to change, such as the gradual integration of artificial intelligence.

Introduction
The fostering of collective intelligence is a dynamic method that encourages all group members to get involved around a common issue. This approach helps teams co-create practical solutions and encourages participants to take ownership of their implementation. As a complement or alternative to coaching, this method draws on co-design, collaborative design, and structured dialogue.

What is collective intelligence?
Collective intelligence, often described as the sum of a group’s knowledge and skills, represents a powerful driver for solving complex problems and thinking about systems or situations that cannot be understood by a single individual.
The method that fosters a group’s collective intelligence has three stages: emergence, convergence, and sharing.
Why is everyone talking about collective intelligence?
This methodology is increasingly being adopted by companies because it allows them to mobilize teams while integrating diverse perspectives.
This approach promotes a sense of appreciation and belonging among employees, making them feel valued in their roles.
As a result, they become more engaged, demonstrate greater resilience to stress and change, and contribute to more effective and creative solutions.
What are the benefits of bringing my team together for a workshop?
Collective intelligence represents a powerful driver for preventing mental health problems in the workplace.
According to Mélanie Dufour-Poirier, associate professor at the School of Industrial Relations at the Université de Montréal, and Jean-Paul Dautel, professor in the Department of Industrial Relations at the Université du Québec in Outaouais, this collaborative approach is particularly effective in addressing psychosocial risks.
This process is not limited to improving employee well-being; It also strengthens organizational resilience. By actively involving stakeholders in the search for solutions, companies develop their ability to adapt to change.
How many hours do I need to foster the collective intelligence of my group?
Respecting proven methods, workshops fostering collective intelligence are always timed and structured around clear time limits.
A single 30-minute exercise can generate proven innovations that can be applied to your business.
Iceberg Management sells formats ranging from 90 minutes to eight hours. Some clients even opt to organize two-to-three-day strategic retreats to foster Deep Work.
Will we have to leave the office? Are there any other expenses I should plan for?
Iceberg Management can host workshops directly at your site — whether it’s a conventional or unique setting —as long as it’s safe.
Iceberg Management can also accompany you outside of Greater Montreal, with travel expenses reimbursed. Due to its loyal clients, the Iceberg Management team has had the opportunity to travel to the most beautiful hotels in Quebec, as well as to the Rockies and Las Vegas!
If you’re looking for a strategic retreat outside of your organization, we can offer exceptional or modest sites, depending on your goals and budget. Our rates do not cover room rental or catering costs, which are the client’s responsibility. However, our team can undertake the organization and coordination of your workshop or retreat thanks to the event management experience of its Administrative Services Manager, Julie Marie.
How do I choose my participants? Should my group be homogeneous or not?
There’s no standard formula to follow when selecting participants.
A homogeneous group has the advantage of having a good understanding of the problem and tried-and-tested solutions.
In contrast, a heterogeneous group has the advantage of thinking outside the box and covering blind spots.
To help you choose your participants, we analyze your needs in depth when developing the project charter. Everything will depend on the desired results.
Rest assured, we will guide you through the choices you need to make.
